尾瀬自然の宝庫である尾瀬（おぜ）は燧ケ岳の噴火活動によってできた高層湿原であり、尾瀬ヶ原を中心に福島県・新潟県・群馬県の3県にまたがる天然保護区域である。1960年、特別天然記念物に指定されている。ミズバショウやミズゴケなど湿原特有の貴重な植物群落が見られる。 |
